Join one of the Club's organised bunch rides.  Generally, it is split into three groups according to pace and distance, from 22 to 35kph average speed, and 40 to 120kms.  Courses vary, check the Group Rides and Results section of this website or our Facebook page for details.  Meet at 8am, Coastlands Shopping Centre carpark, Rimu Rd, Paraparaumu, next to Farmers department store.  Cafe stops after all rides.

The fast group, the Yellow Jersey Group, generally ride around 100kms at a quick average pace, with occassional sprints.  Riders tend to be training for specific events such as K2, Taupo, Nationals or the North Island Series.  Rides can be drop or no drop, depending on the purpose.

The KGB (Kapiti Good Bunch) is a medium paced group, with a focus on good bunch riding etiquette, comaraderie and endurance.  Rides vary between 60-90kms with an average pace of around 25-28kph.  This group was born out of the original 12-week program (see below) but includes other riders.

The Club also runs a 12-week program aimed at those with basic fitness who want to re-engage or begin in the sport and improve their confidence and skills on a road bike.   Rides progressively increase in speed and duration as the course progresses.
