Howdy folks

Another good week of racing under the belt!

Just a few notices for next week...

  • For the next couple of races - there is an informal coffee on at the Hyde Park Cafe (which is across SH1 on Hyde Park Corner).  Everyone is welcome to head back there after the race and swap a few stories while sampling some of their famous Cheesy Gems...  (After the 5th Race there will be a prize giving at the Te Horo Hall - so no Cheesy Gems that day please)

  • Can you all start bringing your licence to registration - just so we can keep better records and get a handle on everyone's licence statius.

  • It would be a huge help if people could help with the course pack down after the race.  Check with the officials first - but if you are around the start/finish and everyone is finished - it would make a big difference if you could grab a cone and return it to the start finish.    It's a big task to setup and take down the course with it being a 7 hour day for those involved at both ends.   We can all lighten their load by helping here where we can.

  • And please - we are racing in Te Horo at the grace of the local community.  Can we please do all we can to not interfere with traffic flows.  This means being well off the road before the start and after the finish.

And to club members - we need help with course setup and take down.  It's a job that's being left to the same people to do each week.  Its a job you can do that gives you marshalling points as well as getting to race each week.   Please contact Glynis on This email address is being protected from spambots. Thanks as usual to the myriad of people who make each week of racing possible.   We love you all! (yes - even you Ranga!)
